Every fall, I fall in love with this season again. Its crisp, cold mornings, the changing colors in the leaves on the trees, sweet moments on a front porch swing. Below are a few of my favorite front porches and our very own textile designs inspired by the season. Enjoy! & Happy Fall,
xo,
Kate
Love this front porch with its welcoming mums and simple assortment of pumpkins (Source: homediy.co/)
This front porch in Watercolor, Florida (one of my favorite places on Earth - you can read more about it here via this earlier blog post) caught my eye, too:
Sometimes all you need to finish off a space is an accent wall of color, a fun indoor/outdoor rug (my go to favorite source is Dash & Albert) and a decorative mirror like the one pictured here. (Wisteria is a great source for accents like these).
Last year, we installed budget-friendly drapery panels (courtesy of IKEA) on one end of our front porch. All I have to say is, "What took you so long?!" The panels immediately created a wonderful and more private sense of place. It's probably the single, least expensive / highest impact accent we've made to the front porch since it was built.

Last but not least, here is the front porch of blogger Edie Wadsworth @Life in Grace. I started following Edie years ago and admire how she openly shares the challenges of juggling motherhood, faith, home and business. I also love how she incorporates art, fresh flowers and cozy pillows on her own porch to help enhance this outdoor sitting room. Thank you, Edie, for the inspiration! (and p.s. she is right: All you need is love).
p.s. Here is a close up of our fall-inspired Leaves on Fire and It's a Maize designs. Available in decorative pillows, organic throw blankets, fabric by yard and now wallpaper, too.
